Helping You Connect Better
YARD Cards are upcoming and provide a smart way to connect across communication boundaries. You can use cards to interact openly, pseudonymously, or anonymously: connect better with others in real life or supporting your favorite apps.
You can think of YARD Cards as business cards with superpowers which can be used to connect with people, companies, and events. But, that's not all. Premium YARD Cards are fully customizable concerning their design and functionality, plus they integrate into workflows and your favorite tools.
Whether you explore something, inform someone, register somewhere, log in, network with others, collaborate, communicate, or just want to stay in touch, YARD helps you connect on your terms. Reinvent the way you use your information.
Interact With Events
Using YARD, users can discover business events through calendars on this website and through calendars on 3rd party websites. But, there will soon be an easier way to stay up-to-date about upcoming events:
Users can use YARD Cards for getting relevant notifications about upcoming business events (for example messengers, social media, email, AI tools, or APIs). By connecting your 3rd party user accounts via YARD, you can upgrade your cards with superpowers, for example to increase the quality of recommendations and interactions.
Ultimately, YARD aims to connect the right people with the right events.
Relationships of Cards
YARD Cards aren't just for individuals: they can represent companies, departments, teams, or even IT systems. These cards can form relationships with each other and include robust privacy controls.
Company managers have administrative rights over the business cards of their employees, enabling oversight and updates. Users can export contact data to any third-party software, with tools to manage its accuracy and lifespan.
You need to verify if someone is authorized to represent a company or still working for them? Just check the corresponding YARD Cards.
Cards Can Interact
Your YARD Cards are designed to work via your preferred communication channels and software providers for better getting around.

Connections, Reimagined
YARD Cards are more than just business cards or digital identities. They form an open and neutral platform that enables connections between people, organizations, and digital services in a way that is privacy-preserving by design, for example to share contextual data like appointments.
Interactions are intentional, can be traceable when needed, and always based on explicit consent rather than silent data collection. Information can be shared openly, discreetly, or without revealing an identity at all, while every interaction can be logged, approved, or declined transparently.
Connections can start, evolve, pause, or end without friction, and data remains protected from unintended use. This makes YARD Cards suitable for everyday coordination anywhere, trusted relationships, and critical moments alike, without sacrificing control or openness. The main focus is to protect the privacy of our users worldwide and in the cyberspace.
Free vs Premium Cards
By default, YARD Cards are free and allow you to interact online or in real life with anyone or anything in both directions. You can upgrade to Premium YARD Cards, which will give you superpowers:
- define workflows (e.g., send a welcome message, issue a discount, trigger a webhook, log to your CRM, ...);
- issue and manage cards via your HR software in real-time;
- analyze how others engage and connect with you, your team, or your offerings;
- access cross-channel behavior analytics;
- use advanced data sharing rules, permissions, and filters;
- customize the look and feel of your cards;
- remove the YARD branding;
- contact the 24/7 customer support;
- and more.

Connections You Can Trust
The YARD Platform acts as a neutral layer and it helps manage trusted connections between companies, people, and teams. Connections can be exchanged easily, and interactions can take place through everyone’s preferred channels, while Premium YARD Cards add trust-building features, flexibility, and deeper customization.
Premium users can decide where their data is stored, and both sides can access, filter, or revoke shared information at any time based on mutually defined rules. Even when connecting with many people, full control over data is maintained.
Organizations can issue and manage employee business cards centrally via API connectivity, for example by connecting HR systems directly to YARD. This makes it possible to verify that a person is truly representing the company they claim to work for. By default, YARD does not trust anyone.

You Can Be Anything
YARD Cards are designed to represent far more than just businesses. They can stand for real people with different verification levels, pseudonymous identities, and even technical entities such as API access endpoints. To give you some sense of YARD Cards can look like, here some early examples:
- Samuel Tucker (a non-verified natural person)
- Sören Eversmeier (a hard-verified natural person)
- CoreLedger AG (a hard-verified company)
- Udi Wertheimer (a soft-verified pseudonymous person)
- *3e2c6c11 (an API access endpoint user)
Needless to say, that we're currently working on enabling cards for you. A top priority is protecting the privacy of our users, whoever you are or want to be.
