YARD becomes media partner of Banking Exchange 2026

Published on 14 October 2026

YARD is a media partner of Banking Exchange 2026 ↗, the banking and fintech conference of Payment & Banking ↗. BEX takes place on November 4, 2026, at Massif Central in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. The conference is held in German.

Payment & Banking calls Banking Exchange the annual class reunion of the German banking and fintech industry. A ticket covers the conference day, networking and the afterparty.

This year's motto is BEX Underground: Cash. Code. Crime. The program has four topics:

  • Money in motion: stablecoins, the digital euro, tokenization and new B2B payment infrastructure
  • Trust under pressure: identity, fraud, money laundering and the new AMLA supervision based in Frankfurt
  • Who owns the customer? AI models, chips and platforms as a new layer between banks and their customers
  • An industry in change: foreign neobanks in Germany, business models, brands and consolidation

Discussions that may get uncomfortable

The organizers want a day of open, sometimes uncomfortable discussion: who will own the customer relationship, why banks can no longer take deposits for granted, how financial fraud keeps changing, and which business models will survive the next decade.

Speakers announced so far include Chris Scheuermann (EPI Company, Wero), Sasa Fajkovic (Trade Republic), Katharina Lueth (Raisin), Nikolaus Trzeschan (Mastercard) and Stephan A. Paxmann (LBBW). More speakers will be announced on October 19.
